About Me

I was born and raised in Lund, Sweden, where I graduated high school and went to college. In 2011, I moved to Japan. After studying at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, I moved to Nagoya, where I live to this day.

Books have always been a big part of my life. When I was about two years old, I would toddle into my parents’ bedroom in the mornings and give them a rude awakening–by throwing my favorite book at their faces and demand to be read to. Nowadays, I do the reading myself, and I treat books with a little more respect.

I write across a spectrum of genres, with a particular preference for fantasy and horror. If something can be epic, magical, eerie, foreboding, or just plain weird (and let’s be honest, what can’t?), you bet I’m all over it.

Apart from reading and writing, I enjoy playing video games, swimming, and cooking.

In 2019, my short story Life After Dusk won the first place prize in the Young Adult category of the 15th Annual Writer’s Digest Popular Fiction Awards. (You can read the story here)

On June 25th 2021, I published my debut novel Memory Hole, which you can read more about in the Books section of this site.

In 2022, my short story Dragon was featured in the Heroes anthology published by Lost Boys Press.
